How can I use color theory to show traits in different personality types? How can layering affect the intricacy of a personality? How can I use colors, shapes, and lines to convey personality types in abstract ways? In my sustained investigation, I explored ways to convey human characteristics through abstract design. This series includes 11 pieces of work that are connected by characteristics. The first three include certain characteristics and the other pieces consist of the 9 Enneagram types. I used color, mark making and shape to project my investigation. Most of my works I painted with acrylic paint but I also incorporated liquid acrylic and gel medium.
